it made me realise that i need more color in my wardrobe - so i browsed the internet for a yellow cardigan and this is my top 3 

3/ urban outfitters : nice one but the colour seems still a little bit pale

2/ lela rose - you can buy it at neiman marcus 

1/ two pieces from tommy hilfiger : one has exactly the right colour, but i prefer the fabric from the other

- found them on dress-for-less

next mission : the leopard scarf :-)

i was already slightly jealous when i saw the pics on the internet

and then ... they arrived  ... and now i'm not slightly jealous - i'm jealous -period-

I saw this movie on the internet  this morning very early (insomnia insomnia insomnia )

Chanel opened a new boutique in SoHo NY – one address to add to my ‘have to pass by when I’m in NYC’- list

And I wished I was there last friday  at the opening party J 

(Karl, how could you forget about me ?)

So I wasn’t there but there were some other beauties ;-)

Project Runway Season 7 – Potato Sack Challenge

With a small delay Project Runway Season 7 started at Belgian television two weeks ago …

After seeing the first episode I predicted Seth Aaron Henderson will win this season.

And guess what … I was right J

He made a very nice dress during the first episode. The designers had to create something that made clear what designing clothes meant for them …

Seth A. Henderson made a very nice flirty girly dress with an eye for details … And it was commercial too  - so said Michael Kors who’s part of the jury .

The first episode had one other adorable dress  - if I could buy this one I would definitely …

Designer was Emilio Sosa and he won this episode (and was season finalist)

The second episode was pretty special … Designers had to go to a farm … Models, designers and even Tim Gunn were standing in the mud... The challenge was to make a fashionable outfit out of potato sacks !!!

The models were the customers and were allowed to choose their designer…

And the designers made some fabulous looks … I would never have imagined that this was possible with the ‘fabric’ they had to use … The winner was Jay Nicolas 

and his dress was spectacular … If you didn’t know you would never have guessed that he used potato sacks for this :

Fashion week in NY - I adore MARC JACOBS !

And if I won the lottery I will most definitely buy almost the whole SS 2011 collection of <3 Marc Jacobs <3

let's talk about boots

autumn is coming - or even worse  - we didn't have a real summer here in belgium :-(
(lucky i spent some time in sunny portugal )

but the fun thing about autumn is that i definetely need new clothes and even more important, new boots !
on the wish list:
1 pair of brown ankle booties without a heel
1 pair of brown high boots (maybe i need to go for a pair of over the knees ) - with a moderated heel
1 pair of black boots with high heels
1 pair of doctor martins

so next few days i will spent some time on ebay :-)
i'll keep you posted :-)

Fashion @ the US Open

Let's start this first blog with two of my passions : tennis & fashion :-)
so i'm a little bit sleepy this days - US Open is on & time difference with Belgium is killing me  but hey those are the only two weeks in the year when i'm actually happy with my insomnia ;-)

so i watched a lot of matches ... i didn't watch only the tennis but also the outfits ...

And if you say tennis outfits these days - you say Venus Williams
So let's start with her.
I absolutely like the dress for the night matches but unfortunately she always plays during day session ... And with that dress i'm not that impressed... I liked the RG dress much more

Maria Sharapova - my absolute favourite player (i like her attitude on court) had two very stylish dresses. I prefer the day-version - colour suites her very well but the black version for night matches is also very stylish

Our own Kimmie has a nice outfit for the evening matches but the yellow dress that fila made for the exhibition is much much much nicer - her most beautiful dress ever in my eyes

Caroline Wozniacki has finaly a more colorfull dress from the stella mc cartney line for Adidas... Stella designed a very beautifull collection (i want that hoodie !!)

and Caro lookes sweet but i prefer this dress from Stella's line

And the men ?
Nothing much to report ...

Federer - stylish as ever
Nadal - cute in black
Verdasco - needs an hairdo but remains a hottie and i like the colour of the shirt
